And a release means more reviews - here are a few of our favourites:

"An unexpected little slice of spindled gold." Nerdly

"What’s achieved with the budget for the film is incredibly impressive….this movie transcends the typical pitfalls accompanying that moniker and deserves to be sought out by horror audiences" Macabre Daily

"“The  budget may be low, but the overall look and feel of the film often belies that, with fun practical makeup and prosthetics work for the titular villain and creative exteriors and set design. " Horror Fuel

"a gritty genre exercise that’s as interested in power dynamics as it is in goblins and spinning wheels." Overly Honest Reviews

"Rumpelstiltskin’s look is fantastic, the costume designs are straight out of Robin of Sherwood and, likewise, showcase a level of care and attention to detail that more expensive productions may have glossed over" Flickering Myth

"Hannah Baxter-Eve’s standout performance as the protagonist Miller’s Daughter squarely places the heroine in the tradition of modern feminist horror protagonists such as Florence Pugh in Midsommar, Anya Taylor-Joy in The Vvitch" The 8th Passenger

An atmospheric and well-crafted telling of a classic folk-tale”  The Obsession of Film

"A take on the Brothers Grimm, which pushes the horror aspects to the fore “ Darkside Magazine
